- The swimmer must be an EDSC member at the time of the swim.
- Age is taken as of the date of the swim.
- Times must be achieved at a Swim England licensed competition (times from mixed-gender races count).

Records of the past
The club's own record sheets, from the Riverside Baths of the 1980s to 2020, exactly as they were printed. Pools, age groups and distances changed over the years, so these sit beside today's board rather than in it.
